Support Worker

Location: Northamptonshire
Job Type: Full-time / Part-time / Flexible Shifts
Salary: 12.21 per hour
Driving: Not essential (role available for drivers and non-drivers)

Totus Care UK is seeking dedicated and compassionate Support Workers to join our expanding team. You will provide high-quality, person-centred support to adults with learning disabilities, autism, mental health needs, physical disabilities, and/or complex needs.

This is a rewarding role where you will empower individuals to live meaningful, independent lives within their homes and the community.

Key Responsibilities

• Deliver person-centred care in line with individual support plans
• Assist with daily living tasks such as personal care, meal preparation, medication prompts and household duties
• Encourage independence, confidence and positive daily routines
• Support individuals to access the community, attend appointments, take part in activities and develop life skills
• Promote emotional wellbeing, communication and positive behaviour approaches (training provided)
• Maintain accurate records and follow safeguarding and health & safety policies
• Work closely with families, professionals and colleagues to provide consistent, high-quality care

Requirements

• A caring, patient and reliable nature
• Excellent communication and interpersonal skills
• Ability to work flexible shifts including evenings or weekends
• Experience in care is welcome but not required — full training is provided
• Right to work in the UK (we cannot offer sponsorship)
• Willingness to complete a DBS check, induction and mandatory care training
