All staff receive accredited training in safe moving and handling techniques to reduce the risk of injury to both the service user and the carer. This includes the correct use of equipment such as hoists, slide sheets, and mobility aids, as well as principles of posture, balance and safe movement. Our aim is to promote independence wherever possible while maintaining safety and dignity.

Training covers the different types of dementia, how the condition affects behaviour and communication, and best practices for providing emotional support, maintaining familiar routines, and promoting dignity and comfort.
